This is a limited edition print of a 'Peregrine Falcon' from an original coloured pencil drawing. This piece was inspired from a personal experience of watching a soaring and very fast Peregrine Falcon in the local countryside. He was hunting a pair of crows that gave a very good chase. The sheer beauty and speed of this gorgeous bird of prey is undeniable and I simply had to draw one.
 
This drawing has included many hours of coloured pencil work, with multiple layers being used. I aim for my work to capture the soul of an animal, the essence of its being and the mood of a single moment frozen in time. All encased in the intricate detail of my signature style.

Giclee Prints are beautifully printed on finely textured Somerset Enhanced Radiant White Acid-Free Cotton Rag Paper using Archival Museum Quality Inks, guaranteed to withstand fading for at least 100 years.
